Technical Machine Inc. started in a small garage in Fridley, MN in 1979. Since that time we have never lost our focus of quality and exceptional customer service. Over the past 30+ years we have always been willing to invest in capital equipment in support of our customers’ needs.

Company History

Technical Machine, Inc. was founded in 1979 by Richard C. Owens, Company President. Rick started Technical Machine in the garage of his home with one machine. Donald Owens, Rick's brother joined the company in 1984, and is now the company's Vice President. Over the last 30-plus years, Rick and Don have expanded their company to seventeen state-of-the-art machines covering 12,000 square feet. Technical Machine is a cutting-edge, top quality CNC shop, specializing in turning and milling.

At Technical Machine, we have the ability to import customer files electronically thus saving time and improving accuracy. We can convert files from a wide range of CAD systems with our state of the art programming system.

As the company has grown over the years, we have never aloud our quality to be compromised by our growth. Our Quality control manager has over 20 years of experience in the machining industry. We have in place a in-process and a final inspection to assure that when we ship your parts they are made the way you want them.
